The Family Courrian has been living in Blaignan-Médoc since 1634. The Grands-parents of the current owner bought the vineyard and the windmill in 1877. The windmail was renovated by the local authority in 1981. Véronique Courrian and Fabien Courrian, the current owner, are the 4th generation of the family. Blaignan Médoc Clay-limestone and graves 30 years in average 50 % Merlot, 50 % Cabernet Franc 100% in French oak barrels (25% new) for 16 to 20 months. Deep ruby/purple, with notes of charcoal/burning embers in addition to black currants, licorice, truffle and graphite, it is full-bodied, rich, authoritative and has light to moderate tannins. This wine will be especially appreciated with red meats and game. Bernard Burtschy France 14/20
